Team

NP. is based in Stockholm with projects worldwide. Since 2019 we have been involved with projects across Thailand, Morocco, Kenya, Poland, Iceland, Brazil, France, and Sweden. Each project requiring us to understand a different set of conditions: different planning frameworks, different construction industries, and different material and craft cultures. Our approach is consistent. We engage early with local architects, engineers, and consultants. We have coordinated multi-disciplinary teams across language barriers and time zones, and maintained design quality and client trust throughout. What we bring to every project, regardless of location, is the same: a clear design position, a structured process, and direct involvement from first sketch to final detail.

Nicholas Préaud - Founding Architect

Stockholm based architect Nicholas Préaud explores the ways of connecting the imaginary to the reality of built architecture. His practice sets out to question our ways of life, our ways of interacting with our environment and each other, as well as to question the traditional rollout of creative architectural processes.

Established in 2018, Nicholas Préaud’s office bridges the practices of architecture and interior design as well as furniture and product design. With offices in Stockholm and projects all around the world (France, Sweden, Morocco, Thailand, Poland, etc.), Nicholas Préaud approaches each project as a unique opportunity to understand the immense richness of architectural cultures, and to question and emphasize local heritage through artistry and excellence in craftmanship.

Before establishing his practice, Nicholas Préaud pursued architecture studies in Paris and subsequently worked as creative and project lead in several international architecture firms such as DGT Architects, Lina Ghotmeh Architecture, Laisné Roussel, Nicolas Laisné Architectes, and world renowned Sou Fujimoto Architects in Paris.

Isabella combines architectural design, building engineering, and a deep background in complex transformation projects. Before joining NP, she spent six years leading major renovation and reprogramming projects for large real estate owners.

Reconfiguring existing buildings across commercial, residential, and public programmes, often within tight constraints of heritage, structure, and systems. Her master’s research at KTH examined structural reuse across different building typologies, and she has applied that methodology to live development projects.

She brings the ability to see potential in existing buildings that others overlook, and to make ambitious transformations technically and economically viable.
